Pinewood Atlanta Studios is one of the companies showing the way forward in virtual production with the launch of a new LED-equipped virtual set. The initiative is a partnership involving MBSi, Fuse Technical Group and SGPS/ShowRig.
They’re using similar LED wall technology to that used on The Mandalorian. At the moment, the set-up can be moved to any stage on the 700-acre site. Towards the end of 2021, the rig will be moved to a permanent location that will be able to accommodate up to three cameras.
