NVIDIA has also announced that it is making its Parabricks software available to researchers battling the Coronavirus pandemic. Based on the well-known Genome Analysis Toolkit, Parabricks uses GPUs to accelerate by as much as 50x the analysis of sequence data.Parabricks is a GPU-accelerated genome analysis toolkit, which leverages graphics processing power to reduce the time required to do the number crunching from days to hours.
