A bit of nostalgia for y’all as we approach NAB time. Many, many years ago, Bill Buxton, then Chief Scientist at Alias Wavefront, which was subsequently absorbed into the Autodesk empire, made these great commercials announcing a significant drop in the price of the company’s Maya 3D software.
Autodesk currently charge £1,968 a year including VAT for Maya, by the way, £5,904 if you pay for three years up front.
