NVIDIA’s inception programme hit a record total of 7,000 members in 2020, up 25% on last year, and most of these new early-stage and seed-stage startups are involved in AI, machine learning and data science for IT services, health care, and media and entertainment. More than 100 companies attained Premier level, which unlocks marketing and engineering support and access to NVIDIA’s customer Rolodex in the form of introductions.
During 2020, developers from Inception startups enrolled in more than 2,000 NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute sessions, including hands-on training and workshops. Tie-ups with the likes of Oracle and AWS provided programme participants with benefits such as free cloud credits
GPU Ventures, the Inception programme’s VC arm, invested in three startups: Plotly, Artisight, and Rescale.
