GPT-4 (Generative Pre-trained Transformer 4) lands this week and it’s going to trigger some amazing advances in the use of generative AI. You will have it in your power to use AI to take a movie idea from your imagination to the screen without any external help, The arrival of GPT-4 was announced by Andreas Braun, CTO of Microsoft Germany in an address reported by news outlet Heise.
GPT-4 is 500 Times More powerful than the current GPT-3.5, on which ChatGPT is built, with 10 Trillion machine learning parameters to GPT-3’s 175 Billion. GPT-4 is multimodal, meaning it will be able to use Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to process multiple types of data including videos, images, sounds and numbers as well as text.
Meta already has Make-A-Video and Google has Imagen Video, which use AI to produce video from user input, but they are research projects and unavailable to use by the public, putting OpenAI is a great position to steal a big march on both.
