Chinese AI video generator Kling is now available internationally

Kling, which launched nationally last month, is now available to users around the world. It can produce 2-minute 30 fps / 720p HD videos using prompts up to 2,000 characters in length.

Users can also create 5-second clips using text and image inputs and then incrementally extend their length by 4.5 seconds at a time. Users receive 66 credits per day. Each video generated costs 10 credits.

Twitter user The Samurai has posted 25 videos showing how well it works and has set us the challenge of picking out the clip that was not created synthetically..

It’s not quick, though. A 5-second clip can take 15 minutes to produce. This is likely to be caused by a mixture of user demand and inadequate infrastructure.

Kling use is monitored and the platform will not allow the generation of videos that directly challenge China’s political ideology or show it in a negative light.
