LG has launched its new LBAF015-G1 Micro LED panel – click on link and scroll down for Physical Parameters, Optical Specification and more – delivering “premium picture quality with deep blacks and vibrant, natural colors, helping directors to create immersive visual experiences” and aimed specifically at the virtual production studio and XR stage market.
The new LG MAGNIT panels use LG’s robust chip-on-board (COB) LED technology and have a pixel density of 1.5mm. The company says that its microLED technology helps to reduce colour distortion, keeping images true across a wide viewing angle and allows for a concave screen curvature of up to 10 degrees. Screens can also be configured as either hanging or stacked installations.
