With Los Angeles, and much of the U.S., still suffering as a result of the current administration’s response to the pandemic and many domestically located productions still on hold, some filmmakers have been able to resume work elsewhere in the world. Here’s a list of what is either currently shooting or has recently finished, and where:
- Geechee – Lantica Pinewood studios, Dominican Republic.
- Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop – York
- Till Death – Nu Boyana studios, Bulgaria
- Avatar 2 – New Zealand
- Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – Australia
- Jurassic World: Dominion – Pinewood Studios, UK
- The Matrix 4 – Studio Babelsberg, Germany.
We’ll add to this list as we become aware of more productions resuming around the world. Please prompt us about any you may be aware of so we can build a picture of how the film production industry is emerging from lockdown in the safer parts of the world.
